Delivery Info

STORE TRADING HOURS:

Current Tops trading hours are as follows:

Monday to Saturday 7:30AM to 8PM

Sundays 8AM to 8PM

IMPORTANT 

No delivery will take place after 5PM weekdays and no delivery on weekends. You are welcome to shop on weekends, but delivery will only be for the Monday after the weekend.

 

Shopping process:

Shop via the SPAR Online grocery shopping platform via the website. Fill your cart and go to checkout. At checkout, you can select either to have your order delivered, or to collect it from the store. You will also be asked to choose a payment method. You can either pay for your order online or you can pay via card upon delivery or collection. Please note no cash payments will be accepted.

Once you have placed your order, our trained personal shoppers will pick your order. Once your order is ready for delivery or collection, we will notify you.

Payment methods and process:

You will be able to choose between two payment methods. You will either be able to pay for your order online through the safe, secure Payfast payment gateway, or you will be able to pay via a portable credit card machine upon delivery or collection.

If you choose to pay for your order upon delivery, our driver will sanitize the device and hand it over to you. Once you have entered your pin and the transaction has been approved, hand the device back to the driver. If you choose to pay for your order when collecting it from the store, one of our staff members will bring a sanitized card machine to your car.

Delivery process:

If you have selected the delivery option, our driver will deliver your order to your door. You will be notified via sms when your delivery is on its way, and you will be able to track your order. Upon arrival at your delivery address, our driver will ring the bell, and then step back and stand at a safe distance.

The driver will then place the bags at your door. You will be asked to confirm your name and order number, so you won’t need to sign or exchange any paperwork. Once your order has been delivered to your door and you have received it, you will receive a notification that your order has been completed.

Order and delivery timing:

Orders must be placed before 10am for same-day delivery or collection. If you place your order after 10am, your order will be ready for delivery or collection the next day.

We only offer deliveries within a 5km radius from our store. Only orders that are of a value of R150 or higher will qualify for online shopping and delivery or collection. There is no maximum basket size.

We charge a delivery fee of R40 per delivery. For your safety and ours, no cash payments will be accepted.

Store trading times for online shopping:

For same-day deliveries or collection, orders need to be placed before 10am. No online shopping delivery or collections will be available on Sundays.
